Samu launch night is huge success!
|
Thanks to everyone who made it a great success. All the bands were amazing. They blew the whole crowd away while rocking the venue to its foundations.
TIME. SPACE. REPEAT. begun the proceedings as a one man show with a loud dose of electric/acoustic solo shoegaze. For the final song, End Of The World the act turned into a two-piece withthe drummer jumping on stage to help give the crowd their first taste of gob-smacking awe of the night. |
Next up were Cornwall four-piece NOT LIST. They left every set of eardrums in utter amazement by playing the most original progressive grunge/punk you may find anywhere at the moment.Their first London gig will be remembered by all in attendance. The next treat were BRIDES OF KONG. |

Samu have seen this band play a few times in the past and this show was definitely one of their finest. Delivering bass-driven psychobilly classics such as I Drew Skeletons and Wildman along with new tracks from their forthcoming album. Pure rock entertainment. |
| Then it was time for the headliners, Zane Lowe and DiS approved LET OUR ENEMIES BEWARE. The menu of the night so far indicated that this was going to be a monumental finale and we were in no way disappointed. Three guitars and a drum kit have never been put to such good use. The crowd soaked up every last drop of loud, fast, frantic energy this band were throwing at them. | ![]() |
By the time the droning feedback had faded, all heads were spinning from just how high a quality each band's performance was. A very good night indeed.
